Nice reasoning... of a 5 yo. Every religion has people who do exactly what you wrote up there. When you judge a belief system, always look at what it teaches.

Look at what it teaches? Sure- maybe I should've used this verse from Deuteronomy 22:28-29

If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

or how about this one from Leviticus 20:13
"If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives."

or maybe even this from 10:34-35
Jesus: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

I feel like this is just a loud minority than a common majority. There is an "expensive" church in my neighborhood, but they do so much community service it makes the preacher look bad. Or maybe I just feel this way because I live in Smallville, USA XD
